Quick Image editor and viewer software which one should have if need to edit/convert/view images
First Look of IrfanView when you open an image in IrfanView:
File extensions on IrfanView: You can convert/view major extensions like
PSD
Paint Shop Pro
TIFF
GIF
KDK
MP3
WMV
MOV
AVI
FLV & so on
You can edit what you want and do not want to view on the software. Also you can edit various other settings from the Properties/Settings Dialog Box as given below:
Bulk Features of IrfanView:
- Slideshow of Images
- Bulk Rename/Conversion of Image files
You can convert or rename the files in bulk by going to File>Batch Conversion/Rename
Five simple steps to do that
1. select what you want to do Convert/ Rename/Both
2. If you want to convert then what extension to want the output to be in. Following are the options:
If you want to rename then you enter the new name for the file(s) under the Batch rename settings text box: “#” the hash symbol is where you want the numbers to be appended for the images you want to rename.
3. You select the the images you want to convert/rename
4. Browse the o/p folder
5. Start Batch
This couldn’t get more simpler.
