Victims recommend to install malicious application as an extra measure of protection data bank.

According to the experts from Trusteer, they discovered a new Trojan application for an operating system Android, by which fraudsters steal bank funds of their victims. The target audience of hackers are residents of the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and Spain.

Under this scheme hackers have resorted to various tricks to force users to install a fake application on their mobile devices. Scammers claim that the software is recommended by the bank as an additional level of protection, as well as assure that it is already used 15 million people around the world.

In addition, the application is presented as a fake cross-platform, and when you try to download the victim asked to choose the operating system of your smartphone. In the list of supported operating systems are iOS, BlackBerry, Android, Symbian.

In the majority of attacks if the victim is using an operating system other than Android, inform the user that all necessary actions are successful. Otherwise, you must provide your mobile number, follow the link that comes in the SMS-message, and download a malicious application. Once installed, the Trojan takes control of SMS-traffic devices, kidnapping, including the bank authorization codes.
