The court dismissed Bram van der Kolka from prison by putting him on strict conditions to find freedom.
Yesterday the Court of New Zealand has put forward the conditions under which the chief programmer Megaupload Bram van der Kolk (Bram van der Kolk) will be released on bail.
Recall that the January 26 New Zealand Court released on bail two employees of the service Megaupload Bram van der Kolka Ortman and Mathias (Mathias Ortman), who were accused in the development of fraudulent scheme to illegally share media files, which allowed the founder of the service to earn $ 175 million
The prosecutor representing the interests of the U.S. government, Anne Toohey (Anne Toohey) said that after his release Kolk likely to try to create a replacement Megaupload, and there is a risk that it will resume its relationship with the other defendants in this case. At this the lawyer of the defendant said that it is impossible, because his client will be under the supervision of the FBI. He also asked that the Kolka allowed to communicate in at least two of the seven defendants, who currently are in New Zealand because it is their general counsel and is necessary for the defense.
As a result, the judge ruled that Bram van der Kolk can be relieved by putting him on strict conditions to find freedom. First, Kolka was forbidden to go online and have a home any devices that provide access to the network. Second, the programmer fayloobmennika forbidden contact with other inmates in the case Megaupload, in addition to two, which indicated the defendant’s lawyer.
