Russian hacker sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for breaking into WorldPay

According to 36on.ru, Eugene Onikin who was involved in hacking computer systems corporation WorldPay, was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. This decision was rendered by a court of Novosibirsk. Note that the case of burglary was filed WorldPay back in 2009. In making a decision the court took into account that the hacker is actively cooperating with the investigation and agreed to pay compensation for the inflicted damage to the corporation. Anikin In addition, another Hacker, who participated in the burglary WorldPay, was sentenced to six years in prison on probation. At the stolen funds Anikin bought two apartments in Novosibirsk, as well as a car. This property is a hacker agreed to return as compensation.
