Surface 2.0 on Windows 8 has begun production of a new family of digital devices of the corporation.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer (Steven Ballmer) at a press conference in Los Angeles, presented the new product development company – Surface 2.0 tablet with a diagonal of 10 inches (25.4 cm). According to Ballmer, the new product is the first step in promoting a new family of digital devices company, which is currently under development.
It is expected that the tablet Surface 2.0 will go on sale this fall. It is expected that its release should coincide with the release of Windows 8, on the basis of which will run one of the models gadget.
According to Ballmer, the company plans to launch two lines of production of tablets. The first model will weigh 680 g at a thickness of 9.3 mm casing. and will run on ARM-based processor with Windows RT. The second line will provide a model weighing 910 g and a thickness of 14 mm shell that runs on a processor from Intel running Windows 8.
Both Surface 2.0 will be an innovative enclosure and VaporMg holder. In addition, the tablets will be available to cover the magnetic keyboard, as well as the function of editing and correction of records images with a stylus and digital ink technology.
