The company Lockheed Martin has added an international network of laboratories, which includes facilities in the U.S. and UK cybersecurity center in Canberra.
Its center of computer innovation and next generation technologies NextGen Cyber ??Innovation and Technology Centre (NCITE) is under construction. It will occupy an area of ??900 square meters.Lockheed Martin said that at the time of its official opening in March 2012, the center will have 200 employees.
“The soft launch” this week coincided with a conference in 2011 Military Communications and Information Conference, held in Canberra.
Technical director of cybersecurity companies Obli Kurt said: “We will be able to conduct offensive and defensive control testing and operativnuyurabotu on the Internet. It is a separate network where we can train on the offensive, instead of protection, so we can learn quickly in a safe environment.”
The company said the system will have three private clouds, and one public, and security will be consistent with the “secret” level on the Australian classification.
According to Defense News, the company also binds a group of partners to form a Global Innovation Alliance (a global alliance for innovation), which initially will include Edge team Australian National University, CA, Dell, Glasswall Solutions, HP, McAfee, Quintessence Labs, Schnieder Electric and Taskey .
