The fact that leakage was detected when access to the security system was unable to obtain a user with administrative privileges.

According to the newspaper Nu.nl, intruders broke into the database of the Dutch Internet service provider Proserve and stole confidential information to 800 thousand users. Databases were Q-Music, Stedin, the Telegraaf newspaper café, Square Shopping, as well as other web-resources.

According to the publication, the vulnerability of the system was discovered by a hacker from the Dutch Association of Trixy Hack Ende, when she was unable to access the system resource security, with administrative rights.

“It is clear that someone has hacked into the system and gained access to information. I really want my application for detection of leaks forced the attacker to stop the attack, “- said Trixy resource Nu.nl.

According to experts, it also found that one was cracked server provider, which the company Proserve used for automated design of computer systems. As the representatives of the hosting provider, the second server was disconnected from the network access the Internet.
