While installing Magento on XAMPP – I got this petty restriction
PHP Extension “curl” must be loaded
Simple XAMPP Solution
You are good to go
While installing Magento on WAMP:
For most of you out there simply editing the php.ini file must have worked if not then so here is the solution.
You would need a 64bit compatible php_curl.dll.
Simply replace it here: C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.3.13\ext
And you are set for magento to start with WAMP without any error.
