Samsung has introduced two new models of laptops running the operating system Windows 8: Series 7 Ultra and Series 7 Chronos. Cost  of the computers is yet to be announced.

Series 7 Chronos will be equipped with a hard disk up to 1 TB, Radeon HD 8870 with 2 GB of memory on board, as the processor has 4-core Core i7, memory capacity – up to 16 GB. Diagonal screen with a resolution of Full HD 15.6 inches, available as an option touchscreen. The battery capacity is not specified, however the manufacturer says it should run for 11 hours. The thickness of the laptop is only 20 mm and weight – 2,3 kg.

 

Series 7 Ultra has a 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of Full HD (touch screen – as an option), a choice of processors Core i5 or i7, a discrete AMD HD8570 graphics card with 1 GB of memory, memory capacity expandable up to 16 GB, hard disk drive can be replaced with a solid state drive of up to 256GB, support networks LTE. Weight – a little more than 1.3 kg, battery life – up to 8 hours, says The Verge.
